$1 Million RC Model May Be
Next American Inventor Winner

Watch your local hobby shop over the next couple of years for a unique paper RC product, the HT Racer car or plane which is in the top 3 of ABC's American Inventor finalists for the $1 million prize and 2007 American Inventor title.

The HT Racer was developed by Ricky DeRennaux, a high school teacher from Oklahoma City, developed the new models to help teach students design and engineering along with product development

American Inventor Update

The HT Racer nosed out the EZT4U replacement basket for the common electric coffee brewing machine to automate tea brewing; the Wrap-away gift wrapping station for storing/organizing gift wrap and The Claw, a ceiling or wall-mounted bicycle storage mechanism.

He competed for phone votes with Greg Chavez, Camarillo, CA with his Guardian Angel invention that automatically douses Christmas Tree fires and Elaine Cato, a Realtor from Tennessee, describes her 6-In-1 Convertible Brassiere invention as, "A convertible brassiere that accommodates the full wardrobe.The results of the coting will be announced on the final show Wednesday, Aug. 1.
