One Of My Favorites: Rescue Mission

by Reg Hardy
(New England)

This was a kitbash project of The Rescue Mission by Downtown Deco. This model was mostly plaster and one I felt most clearly represented the type of urban structure found on "the other-side-of-the-tracks".

Occasionally, churches or other service organizations open safe places for those down on their luck like the "Rescue Mission."

I learned a lot about modeling in plaster from Randy Pepprock, owner of Downtown Deco.

I added a few things like the rooftop gardens, other rooftop "furniture" and my own sign.

It was a fun project that fit right into a diorama of mine called the other side of the tracks.

SMH Responds Yup, it is mine. Now let's see yours.
