The old Alabama stock car

by Todd Brown
(Vancouver, BC)

I bought this model from a grocery store clearance center 20 years ago and built it as a deep south USA backyard (in my imagination, I live in Canada). I really wanted to play with balsa wood and make a fence to this little 2 dollar kit fit the bill. I had fun melting the roof slightly and tried to make rust paint on the hood.

Great composition! You nailed the appearance of the fence you were looking for... the scale of the fence to the car is so realistic.
