Rate Your Model Honestly
For Pre-Show Judgement

The purpose of rating your own completed model is to honestly assess your capabilities for good model building and give you a set of guidelines to employ when and if you are asked to judge the work of others in a contest or show.

This will also give you the capability of making an assessment of your own modeling efforts before entering into a show or contest.

The key questions you should answer are:

What did the modeler try to do? How well did the modeler do it?

You will be making judgments about difficulty and quality in all phases of your analysis.

Construction:How difficult or complex Simple, Somewhat complex, moderately complex complicated.

Detail: How much detail has the modeler added. How complex is it.

Conformity How well did the modeler reproduce the prototype’s appearance.
