Over the past 50 years, I’ve been in and out of the hobby as a scale modeler three times and I am now working on my fourth. The one thing I have learned is patience is key and I am best working at one of two speeds, slow and slower. Incidentally, the 5,000 year old scale model mentioned above (not one of mine) duplicated a Pharaoh’s sea-going vessel in the year –2561BC. It is still on display today. Talk about materials durability.
